It's been quiet for too long, thinks my Mommy brain. I go looking and find him reading in his bed room...
Oh, can a Mom fit so much pride in her heart! I am so grateful that he loves to read, at bed time he'll keep asking for "one more book" until I (reluctantly) cut him off.

My oldest was like that. We would hide books under the couch when we just couldn't read it "one more time"
He is almost 9 now and LOVES to read just for fun!!!
