My apologies to the meme but wordless this is not going to be!
I think in my self focus last week I forgot to mention that my friend Anna and her kids are coming over each Tuesday and we are doing preschool!
Yeah the kids are only two and we may be a little overzealous but since we like hanging out it's a good excuse!!!
Last week we cut different shapes out of cookies and now my son can tell the difference between a circle and a square with some gentle reminding. I also have a really cool finger painting hanging on the fridge and the kids of course have fun no matter what.
This week we made spinach pasta dough and used her pasta maker to roll it thin. The idea was to make lasagna but we've been eating lasagna for almost every meal since I made one on Saturday so I rolled ours and sliced it into linguine-ish size for dinner tonight. I hung them on the hangers to dry as my son tried desperately to practice self control while looking - and pulling an occasional sacrifice.
I'm having just as much fun in preschool as the kids - maybe more!
Updated because I forgot to link to The Other Side of Dubs whose the host of all this fun. So visit her if you'd like to join or see the blogroll for Wordless Wednesday.

Wordless, it's funny. With words, it's impressive. I'm just not up for homemade pasta- the bravest I ever got was bagels- then the urge to cook passed and hasn't returned yet. . .
So impressed!! Might need to post your recipe!
Homemade spinach pasta. (Hope it's from frozen spinach tho!)
It's great.
My W W is posted. Come visit.
Ok, grab that phone and tell Martha Stewart she doesn't compare to you!!! HA! :)
Your lessons are wonderful. Our kids need more hands on learning like this. I am with your son I too would be tempted to touch! Great Share!
My WW is up. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
It is more fun to do school together. You are ambitious to do pasta with two year olds! ;)
WOW. You go girl! I do "school" with Sophia, too & she luvs it. Hey, if they're willing to learn I say "teach", right? Especially if you're having as much fun as them! I'm jealous you have a girlfrined to come over & "play" along with ya! Good times!
What fun!!
I have yet to make homemade pasta. perhaps someday in the name of school we shall give it a try.
Looks really yummy!!
That looks waaaaay cool but waaaay too much work!
What fun things you're doing with your kids!!! The pasta looks fantastic.
Thanks for your comment on the experiment;)
Oh, that looks like fun! I'll have to look into doing that with my kids.
