Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks for your comments and support! I just pampered myself with a long shower while my Mom took care of the babe and my Dad took my 3 year old to the park. What a difference from my typical 3-5 minute shower with the door open and curtain cracked. Shaved and exfoliated, I feel wonderfully human!!

I plan to go out with a couple friends on Thursday, with the baby of course, but adult conversation will be nice. Yesterday I remembered that I used to take baths every once in awhile with my son as a baby. It was fun bonding time and water is just so soothing for me. I'm scheduling one of these baths with my baby about once a week from now on and hopefully these little things will help maintain my sanity!

Give yourself time. It takes awhile to adjust. Good for you taking time for yourself!

Glad to see you got a little respite. My baby is 12 weeks today and I have been feeling a little overwhelmed as well. This week my in laws took the older kids for the week. It has been nice to finally catch up on the stuff I have been trying to do for the last 3 months! Oh...and I read a book!

I know exactly what you are talking about! Just having the house free of children for 10 minutes does a world of good for me. Today Hubs took the kids for a walk and it was nice to stay at home and eat candy WITHOUT sharing!! :-)

Hope you're feeling better, finding some "you" time...even though it's nearly impossible to come by. At least there's blogging right? ;)

you are so lucky to have parents close by (or that I am assuming anyway) my hubby's out of town and I don't have any parents here to take the grandkids out for a while.. oh well in a few weeks my man should be home.. enjoy the night out!! and that's a cool idea about taking the babe with u for a bath, I'll have to try it..

Amazing what a nice shower can do, huh.
