Our little one

We went in for my second ultrasound yesterday and it was so much fun. It was so crazy seeing all the little parts- hands and feet and fingers and toes! Of course the scanned in copy doesn't look too great but the wee one had his legs crossed and was waving hands and jumping and wiggling all around. I guess she better enjoy it while there's still room to do all of that!

The little foot measured 0.83 cm! Just a true itty bitty one in there.

My goal was to make it to 12 weeks without getting out the box of maternity clothes and while it might be close I'll be 12 weeks on Tuesday so I think I might just make it!!!

UPDATED: I'm adding this link because has some interesting info about fetal development so you can see what's been happening in just the last 11 weeks.

How cute! I love getting ultasounds. I'm just 9 weeks and haven't been to the doc yet, so I haven't had any.

Are we saying "she" in a hopeful way?? Do you have a feeling that this one is a girl? I have a feeling that mine is a boy. But only a feeling. I didn't have any feelings with theBeast.

Ultrasounds are so awesome. It makes it all so real, especially in the beginning. I had gestational diabetes with Emma, so we had lots of them. I quickly got spoiled!

Those little feet are so cute. Truly a miracle growing inside your belly!

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing! The only ultrasound I had with X was at 6 weeks - he looked like a little kidney bean! It's amazing tracking baby's development isn't it?! So glad everything is going beautifully!

Ok, so I officially don't have a preference: boy or girl = very thrilled Mommy!!! I used his in one sentence and she in the next...because I'm not big on using "it" for a little person - sounds too impersonal. I din't want to use all "he" in case it is a she, just trying to be fair I guess!!!

If you do want my guess I think this one's a boy BUT that's just based on previous experience!!!! (I feel quite similar to my sons pregnancy.)
