Do you think since my son can now climb up onto the changing table by himself it's time to get rid of it?

Honestly, he probably could have done this months ago but he never tried it until yesterday. And no it's not anchored to the wall (please don't yell at me!!! I know, I know!).

Just please no one give him a heads up about climbing out of the crib, I'm so grateful that he's still in there!!

Put up a bed in his room and change him on that if you have the room, so he gets used to it! Just refer casually to big kids in beds now and then, and when the time comes it won't be an issue. But I go with keeping him penned as long as he is happy.Mine all climbed out before they could walk. They used to appear at the door grinning. That was when I put a child gate on the bedroom door.

Yikes! I'll bet you were terrified when you discovered he could climb onto his changing table. Time to move it out of his room, unless you decide to anchor it to the wall. We change Snuggle Bug on the floor, on on his toddler bed. We just moved him into a toddler bed 4 days after he turned 2 years old. He's doing great in it! He doesn't seem to miss the crib a bit!

I wanted to be sure to thank you for commenting on my Relationship-Building Activities for You and Your Toddler post. I do appreciate your vote of confidence for my mothering skills! :)

I'll check back tomorrow to see your similarly related post. :)
