Tonight while giving my kids a bath I found myself wanting three more arms. For one thing I'd be able to wash both kids and floss the annoying corn between my teeth all at the same time. Then when I got the little one out and dressed she wanted to nurse and so I sat on the toilet nursing away knowing that my son needed to get out and ready for bed but also desperately needed his hair washed. Again I needed more arms - I guess God knew that we really can't do everything and that's why he gave us Dad! Conveniently with two more arms!!!

I am so grateful that my hubby is there to help out. How do single parents do it?
So true!

Amen to that! My husband was recently out of town for four days, and boy was it a long four days.

That is definitely the truth. It makes such a difference when the hubbies are home! Unfortunately, Jeff is often not home at night, so I too wonder how it will be with another baby. I guess I better start praying for a third arm!?! ;)
I was a single parent for eight years. I'm so thankful that now I have two more arms to hold my kiddos!
I'll never forget my first day alone with my three after the youngest wes born. I had the one and two year olds in the bath while I bathed the baby beside them. Then, while I was trying to dress the baby, the one year old started crying to get out. I look back and wonder how in the world I did it! I am so thankful that God knew that I could!
It does get easier..much easier!
