If they could say the letter or number they could keep the fish. If not they threw it back. To make it more challenging as our son got older he would say a word that started with that letter.momteacherfriendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139385117623482343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29413918.post-7390311800971958612007-10-02T07:59:00.000-06:002007-10-02T07:59:00.000-06:00Very creative! It has words the kids fished out and read, too advanced for Ian. But we're working on taking turns also, so I love the idea of finding fish pictures. Making fish with the letters from the alphabet is a good idea too!

Thank you for the idea.Mamacita Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11984053506182838282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29413918.post-63753732590129532772007-09-29T14:43:00.000-06:002007-09-29T14:43:00.000-06:00Oh you are so crafty! Then, I cut out paper fish and had them color them. LOL! Your way is much better. My way didn't last long because the tape always ended up full of carpet lint and hair. :)Nickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636393968393816840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29413918.post-18479184890447136502007-09-29T06:47:00.000-06:002007-09-29T06:47:00.000-06:00Looks like he loved it!Looks like he loved it!Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373225130119402444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29413918.post-20543664178510102292007-09-29T04:52:00.000-06:002007-09-29T04:52:00.000-06:00What a fun game! The game we have has cardboard fish with letters on them, and bingo type boards with the letters on (the fish is all capitals, the board has caps on one side and lower case on the other.) They go fish for the letters and match them to the board. My kids love this game. You could easily make it yourself. Just an idea.

Good to see you back around again!Stephanie Appletonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07411714132368771649noreply@blogger.com
